I just saw the movie Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar
and I personally thought it was great!I think this movie is amazing and many
people tend to look over many of its amazing details . I mean whats not to
like a beachy setting , culottes,and familiar  actors?
Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar is set in the beachy town Vista Del Mar
Florida after two lifelong best friends decide to leave there small midwestern
town for a relaxing and peaceful vacation .Little do they know a “villain” has
a revenge plan set that might just ruin there vacation when a love interest
comes into the picture.
This movie has an amazing cast full of so many familiar faces! One of witch
is Reba Macintire who did an outstanding job as Usual .Kristen Wiig ,Annie
Mumolo,and Jamie Dornan are the stars in this film and all have amazing on
screen chemistry with one another .Although Kristen Wiig in particular did a
great job considering the fact that she played 2 characters.Throughout this
movie i was amazed by how many outstanding actors they managed to pull
into this film.
This film had so many amazing elements .I fell in love with the summer feel
this movie had yet it also made me feel at home. I also loved the way throughout
the movie it continued to build up an amazing plot and still managed to wrap
up any loose ties in the end .The ending in my personal opinion was the best
part because to me any good movie should still have you wondering a few
questions at the end but not leaving you feeling lost and this film managed to
do this Beautifully.
I feel this movie has many possible answer to what the theme of the story is
but the one i found best fitting is A true friend will know what is best for you
in the moment rather they like it or not .Barb and Star i think a truly sole
mates and both found out that threw out this plot .
I think the target audience for this movie is 12+ its not necessarily for
“mature audiences” but i think anyone younger might not understand the
magnificent plot .The MPAA rating of this movie is PG-13.And personally i
think this movie is amazing it’s an intentionally corny comedy with a twist .I
would recommend this cinematic masterpiece to anyone (with in rating)
