Review: To All the Boys Ive Ever Loved

At first, I did not pay attention to this movie at all. But it kept on showing up once I did not have anything to watch. Reluctantly, I watched the movie and now would never regret making that decision. The movie is called “To All The Boys I’ve ever loved.”

It’s a teenage love drama that I would highly recommend to teens who love plot twists and drama. This movie was a 9 out of a 10 in my opinion.

The movie is about a girl named Lara Jean that liked or still likes various boys, so she wrote letters as if she was going to send them out, but her sister sent them out on accident, allowing them to cause a bunch of confusion. One of the boys she sent a letter to was Peter Kavinsky. It started as just a cover-up, but now they are intimate. As the drama continues there have been ups and downs for Lara and Peter but nothing could ever tear them apart from each other whatever they face. Confusion still stands with another guy, John Ambrose McClaren knowing he is in love with Lara.

What made this very interesting is that there have been some parts where I would just cuddle with my blanket yelling at the tv wanting to see what would happen next. I love how there are a whole bunch of setbacks that lead to another movie which would make you think about what is going to happen next.

Peter was not very straightforward, to tell the truth to Lara Jean. In the movie, he did not tell her things that were very important for her to be informed. Keeping secrets would distance people you love from you.

This movie has it all ranging from everything that I listen to more.

Kaliyah C. is 14, and the movies she loves are dramas.  She also loves some that have a huge plot twist that nobody would think of  because she doesn’t want to watch a movie where the same thing happens as in others. It would make the whole thing boring.
