Irina Rodriguez, receptionist at ROJH, is serving on the Contact and Communications team during the mock disaster drill. Rodriguez discussed her thoughts about the drill with “RO: In the Know.”

Q: What were your thoughts when you were selected for the Contact and Communications team?

A: I’m happy and nervous about it. I’m really going to find out how good I am at my job.

Q: How have  you prepared for your role on the team?  

A: The team has had many meetings and drills to prepare for the drill.

Q: What are you most nervous about? 

A: We [the team] are prepared for anything that comes our way.

Q: Why do you think you were selected for your role? 

A: To communicate with the Spanish-speaking parents during the drill.

Q: What are your strengths as a member of your team? 

A: That I am bilingual, that helps a lot.
