Audrey Emerton, attendance clerk at ROJH, is serving on the Contact and Communication team during the mock disaster drill. Emerton discussed her thoughts about the drill with “RO: In the Know.”
Q: What were your thoughts when you were selected for the Contact and Communication team?
A: I was just hoping that all the parents were informed that it was a drill.
Q: How have you prepared for your role on the team?
A: I have just been trying to track the kids who won’t be here on Friday.
Q: What are you nervous about?
A: I’m not really nervous; I’m just ready for this to be over with.
Q: Why do you think you were selected for this role?
A: I think I was chosen because I talk to parents every day.
Q: What do you think your greatest strengths will be as a team member?
A: I think my greatest strength will be that I communicate well with the parents.
