Jane Smalley, Photography and Civil Air Patrol teacher at ROJH, is part of the Medical Services during the mock disaster drill. She discussed her thoughts about the drill with “RO: In the Know.”

Q: What were your thoughts when you were selected for the medical services team?

A: Please don’t let me screw up my role.

Q: How have you prepared for your role on the medical services team?

A: I have been to first-aid training, and I’ve also met with everyone that could deal with these situations.

Q: What are you nervous about regarding the mock disaster?

A: That we are going to mess up during the drill.

Q: Why do you think you were selected for this role?

A: Because of my background in Civil Air Patrol and training.
