“The Greatest showman” reveals how a guy (Hugh Jackman) made his dreams of opening a circus come true. Before Hugh Jackman was an X-Man, he was an award-winning stage-musical star.
I’ve recently seen this and would like to say that it is very inspiring. It shows how you can make something unspeakable out of nothing at all. Like when he found an old wax museum and made it a show and a home for people with many different qualities and talents.
The main setting of “The Greatest Showman” is at the sensational circus with main characters starring Hugh Jackman, Zendaya, Zac Efron, and the circus performers. This story took place just after the American Civil War, and it celebrates idea of diversity and acceptance of people. It is a musical celebrating the rise of a spectacular, though sometimes controversial, business.
All characters did great performing in this movie including: Keala Settle singing “This is Me,” Zac Efron, Zendaya, Hugh Jackman, and Keala Settle singing “The Greatest Show,” Zac Efron and Zendaya singing “Rewrite The Stars,”and many more viral songs from their booming soundtrack.
I liked how each character showed great emotions and how this movie tells you that being different is an extraordinary thing. Although I didn’t like that Hugh Jackman’s relationship with his circus overpowered his relationship with his family.
The overall message of “The Greatest Showman” is to follow and accomplish your dreams! This movie definitely impacted me, and I think that others will leave with the same impression as me.
Overall I would rate “The Greatest Showman” a 5 out of 5 stars. I recommend all ages to watch this movie. From kids to adults it is totally appropriate in consideration of a PG movie.
