January is School Board Appreciation Month. Last December, if anyone would have asked, “Who is Johnny Knight?,” most ROMS Hawks would have responded with a blank stare. Thanks to the District taking time to recognize our school board members, students and staff alike have been introduced to at least one of those dedicated, hardworking, and yes – volunteer – leaders of the Red Oak ISD.

The ROMS family spent some quality time with Johnny Knight, whose schedule is overflowing with various meetings, phone conferences and visits. He was excited to join us on our campus this month, and even took center court at the annual winter pep rally.
