Maroon monsoon approaching: Homecoming celebration announced for first week of October

The Red Oak High School Student Council has announced its dress-up days and special events for Homecoming Week, October 3-7, and they’re inviting students and staff on all campuses to join in on the fun.
Special instructions for Red Oak Middle School and Sixth Grade Center:
(No school Monday)
- Tuesday’s theme is Olympic Training Day. Students will be allowed to wear school-appropriate sweatpants, spirit shirts, headbands, and wristbands. No leggings, basketball shorts, or shorts with writing on the (rear).
- Wednesday’s theme is Sports Day. Students are allowed to wear their favorite sports jersey and dress code pants which include black, khaki, and navy.
- Thursday’s theme is Patriotic Day. Students are allowed to wear red, white, and blue with their regular dress code pants.
- Friday is the day of the homecoming game! ROMS students can wear maroon and white spirit shirts with jeans. NO MUMS at school.
Students are NOT allowed to dye their hair OR wear wigs.
The week of homecoming, October 3-7, ROMS will be collecting snacks for the Ellis County Outreach Center. ROMS donations include the following pre-packaged snacks: items such as crackers with peanut butter, dried fruit and trail mix. Students who donate a snack may receive a free homework pass.
