Anti-bullying door contest to be judged Tuesday

UPDATE: Ruth Ryan’s class won first place in the contest, while Kelly Blalock’s class came in second.
Red Oak Middle School is having an anti-bullying door decorating contest, which is being done through 4th period classes. The entries will be judged Tuesday, April 5.
Everyone in the school was allowed participate. Each student in the winning class will get an extra-large Hershey bar. The second place class will receive regular-sized Hershey bars.
The posters will be judged on the message, creativity and neatness.
“I hope it ends well,” Student Council adviser Ruth Ryan said. “I don’t know how many people are participating due to the blitz and STAAR testing.”
Winners are expected to be announced Wednesday, April 6.
