For those who have walked through the zero hallway and wondered what all the extra furniture was for, wonder no longer.
The furniture is being used for extra storage in teachers’ classrooms next year. It is the beginning of many renovations that will take place over the summer.
“[The furniture will] go in teacher classrooms to replace bookshelves, cabinets and other various pieces of furniture in each classroom,” ROMS Principal Cristi Watts said. “The goal as we transition to next year is for each classroom to look similar with storage.”
Many of the renovations that will take place are meant to bring ROMS more in line with the technology and furniture at the 6th Grade Center.
