10. X-Men Apocalypse

With the emergence of the world’s first mutant, Apocalypse, the X-Men must unite to defeat his extinction-level plan. Every other “X-Men” movie has been action-packed and filled with interesting new villains; “Apocalypse” looks to be no exception. (May 27)

9. Kung Fu Panda 3

Po is continuing his “legendary adventure of awesomeness” in the third chapter of the popular series, in which he is faced with two huge threats, one supernatural, the other a little closer to home. Po, once believed to be just a fat panda, must teach his fellow pandas to fight these new threats. (January 29)

8.Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Out of the Shadows

Though the plot of the new “Ninja Turtles” has been kept largely under wraps, it’s clear that two familiar villains will be making an appearance: Bepop and Rocksteady.

7. Jungle Book

An orphan boy is left in the jungle asa baby and gains protection thanks to a pack of wolves, a bear and a panther. He’ll need that protection, as he must escape the man-eating tiger, Mowgli. (June 3)

6. Ride Along 2

As Ben’s (Kevin Hart) wedding day approaches, he heads to Miami with James (Ice Cube) to bring down a drug dealer. How will Ben get back to his wedding in time? Considering the laughs in the first “Ride Along,” this one is sure to please. (Now playing)

5. Allegiant

The mystery is upped in this final installment, as Beatrice and Tobias explore the unknown and are taken into custody by an enigmatic group. What will they do next to get out? (March 18)

4. Independence Day: Resurgence

Two decades after the first incredibly popular “Independence Day” invasion, Earth is faced with a new extra-solar threat. But will mankind’s new space defenses be enough? (June 24)

3. Captain America:Civil War

Captain America’s old friend Bucky comes back, and is wanted for the destruction of the city. Captain America tries to protect him, while Iron Man, Captain America’s former ally, tries to get Bucky back from him. This time it’s a fight between the team, instead of against a villain. This will be the movie to watch of the Marvel Series. (May 6)

2. Finding Dory

The friendly-but-forgetful blue fish tries to reunite with her loved ones, Marlin and Nemo, and seems destined to show what the true meaning of family is. This will be the kids movie of 2016. (June 17)

1. Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice

This action-packed movie has all the classic superheroes and villains. While Batman is taking on the all-mighty Superman, Lex Luthor creates a new Doomsday. It’s now their job to stop fighting each other and team up with Wonder Woman.  “Dawn of Justice” seems set to be one of the best comic book movies ever. (March 25)
