The next Red Oak Middle School pep rally will be Oct. 20, with the theme “Go to War.”

Students will be allowed to wear a camo shirt to “come together and support their classmates,” cheer coach and science teacher Hannah Schwieger said.

The pep rally will celebrate the tennis and football teams.

”Pep rallies mean that there is always something positive to celebrate about our school, whether it be athletics, band, dance, cheer, choir or student council,” Schwieger said. “Students get to share these talents with the rest of the school in a fun, spirited way”.

The third, and last, pep rally of the school year will take place Jan. 28, and will celebrate the track and basketball teams. Students will be able to wear Hawaiian or neon shirts to “Wipe Out” the other team.
