New ‘Mortal Kombat’ is everything we know game to be — and much more
April 26, 2015
We haven’t seen a “Mortal Kombat” since 2011, and now, we possibly have the best one ever released. The new version is a more story-based, graphic, and overall much better “Mortal Kombat.”
In this game, you get to play as more than 20 characters, including returning ones such as Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Liu Kang, Goro and Johnny Cage. You still get the sweet sensation of skull cracking, X-rays, and of course, the Fatalities.
This time, the game has more of a story. As the chapters go on, you transition between characters. For every chapter, you play as a different character. And finally, the story mode is not all side-by-side fighting. You are now able to take part in quick-time events, as well as watch a lot of cutscenes.
Many people worried that the new “Mortal Kombat” wouldn’t be like the past games, but I can assure you that you are definitely guaranteed a traditional “Mortal Kombat.” It is everything we know “Mortal Kombat” for and much more. This is absolutely the best “Mortal Kombat” NetherRealm Studios has made.
