Zayn heads in the direction of the door
Malik’s exit from popular boy band causes waves on social media

On March 25, there was a terrible tragedy all over social media that had everybody worked up.
Zayn Malik has left one of the biggest bands in the world: One Direction.
This shocking event has left fans sad and wondering why he left? Why would he want a normal life when he has been doing what he has dreamt of his whole life?
Given that there are many fans of this boy band, it’s difficult to know that there is the possibility of the band coming to an end. The thought is bad, but the reality would be worse.
It makes me incredibly sad that it has come to this. I don’t think anyone saw this coming. I’m sure everybody thought that the band would end together, not all of them leaving one at a time. I think that everybody should respect Zayn’s decision though, because he says he would like some privacy.
“I am leaving because I want to be a normal 22-year old who is able to relax and have some private time out of the spotlight,” Malik said, though making that decision might make matters worse by having the paparazzi ask him questions that he probably doesn’t want to answer.
There were also some theories about him being fired for “cheating” on his girlfriend Perrie Edwards. I personally do not believe that was the reason. The only thing he wanted was to rest and to be away from all the drama.
It has been rumored that he will be going solo and Simon Cowell will have the rights to his career. He was also spotted with producer Naughty Boy at a recording studio, with whom he was recording a song for his solo career. Trying to rile people up by leaking a song that they recorded together and tweeting about it was messed up. It has caused a feud between ex-bandmate Louis Tomlinson and Naughty Boy.
Some say Zayn’s leaving is all a publicity stunt, but this issue really needs to be discussed by his fan base. This way, the fans know the real truth and what really is going on, rather than listening to rumors or having doubts about what’s actually real.
