Ideal places to go on a date

When Jenna Delgadillo thinks of date night, her mind automatically goes to Whataburger.

“I think Whataburger is a cute place to go on a date because you can eat burgers and french fries and not a lot of people go there,” Delgadillo, an ROJH 7th grader, said.

When it comes to dates, there are many places ROJH students love to go. From restaurants to the movies to the outdoors, there are many opportunities for a fun date.

Seventh grader Jenna Johnston said the movies are a good place to start, especially if you have a chatty date.

“You don’t have to hear them talk about themselves,” Johnston said.

But 7th grader Mary Young prefers an outdoor date.

“A good place to go on a date is at a park, because there’s a pond, and it would be really romantic,” Young said. “Especially if it was at sunset, and the sun would be glazing on the pond water, and it would be really pretty.”

Seventh grader Hannah Lyle said roller skating is her ideal date night.

“You can be interactive and skate around with each other and you can be competitive with each other,” Lyle said.

Seventh grader Adarian Macintosh said that Dave & Buster’s is a great place to go on a date.

“It’s a place where you can win prizes for each other,” Macintosh said. “And it’s just fun.”
