ROJH will play host to its first ever Family Math Night on Tuesday.

“[Family Math Night is a chance] to provide an opportunity for students to show off their math skills,” 7th grade math teacher Amanda Hulett said.

There will be a PTA meeting that will start off the night at 6:30 p.m., then families will head to eight different math stations where they will solve math problems together. The night is scheduled to end at 7:30 p.m.

This night allows parents to see how math has changed with the addition of new TEKs, so they can understand the gaps that have been created for students this year.

To end the night, families will be presented with performances by the ROJH band, drill team and theater classes.
